Conditional Formatting

Conditional formatting -: Condition के अनुसार Data पर Formatting apply करने के लिए use करते हैं |

1.Highlight cells Rules :- अलग-अलग rules के according text या Number data को color से highlight कर सकते हैं |

2.Top/Bottom Rules :-Top most या bottom most data को Collect  करना |

3. Data Bars:-Data को Chart Scales को Set करना |

Condition अपने according set करना

 Click on home Menu

Click on conditional formatting

       New rule

Format of cells based on their values

 Format style -

Minimum                Maximum

Type - Number                   Number

value - 200 ( any no.               400 (any no. )

Color - any color select          any color

     Ok

2.Format only cells that contain

I format only cells with

Cell value         Between         200 and 400

(spefic text मैं हम    Format

Name hight light         Fill

कर सकते है     choose any color

    Ok > Ok

3.Format only top and Rank value

 any no.

Format

  any color

     Ok

4.Format only value that are above or below average

selected number से below Performace निकाला जाता है

5.Format only unique or duplicate value selected area से unique or duplicate value को hight light करने के लिए

   Clear Rule

अपने data में से format को clear (हटाना) करने के लिए Clear Rule को use करेंगे

Click on conditional formatting

1.Clear Rules from selected cells> इस options से जो  area select है वहां से format को हटता है

2.Clear Rules from entire sheet > इस options table मैं जहां भी format लगाया है उसे Clear करता है

     Home Menu

     Click on conditional formatting option

   New Rule

use a formula determine which cells to format

(किसी Particular row/column  को hight light करना)

इसके चार चरण होते है

1.Particular cell को hight light करना

Product के किसी Cell को hight light   करने के लिए product  को किसी दूसरे cell में copy paste करें | व उसके नीचे वाली cell मैं सारे product name को Data validation के list से set करें |

Step -1 Select all table (Heading को छोड़ते हुए Select करना )

Step-2 Click on conditional formatting  than click new rule option use a formula to determin which cells to format

Step-3 Select product Name (mouse) (A₂)

Show होता है -=$A$2

इसमें $ Sign को हटा देना है |

Change =A₂ =Click on G₆

Step-4 Click on format >Fill>Choose color>Ok>Ok

Step-5 Drop list से Product चुनना है वही Product highlight हो जाता है|

[Note- यदि किसी एक Product का नाम उस Table  में कहीं बार Repeat होता है तो सारे एक साथ highlight हो जाता है | ]

2) Particular Row को  highlight  करना >

Step-1 Select table ( heading को Select  नहीं करना है )

Step-2 Click on new rule and use a formula to determine which cells to format

Step-3 Select product name (Mouse A2)

( Note- Row को hightlight करने के लिए row के आगे का $ हटा देंगे )

=$A$2 Change =$A2

Step-4 click on G6

=$A2=$G$6

Format>Fill>Choose color>ok>ok

Step-5 Drop list से product का नाम चुना है इससे वह पूरी Row  hight light हो जाती है |

3. Particular column को hight light करना  >

Step-1 select all table ( heading भी select करना है )

Step- 2 Click on new rule and use a formula to determine which cells to format

Step-3 Select heading name ( product A1)

=$A$1 Change = A$1

(Note - यहां heading के नाम की drop list बनानी है )  

=$A$1 change =A$1

Step-4 Click on H6

 =$ A $1= $H$6

Format>Fill> Choose color > Ok>ok

Step-5 drop list से heading का नाम चुनना  है इसे पूरी column hightlight हो जाती है

4. Row व column को एक साथ hightlight करना >

Row  व column को hightlight करने के लिए वही step follow करने होंगे

बस इसी बात का ख्याल रखना है कि-

Row hightlight करते समय heading select नहीं करनी है ( table select करते समय )

Column hightlight करते समय heading समेत पूरी  table select करना है|

इससे एक ही table में Row  व Column दोनों hightlight हो जाएंगे
