If we want to decrease the size of any file or folder, then we need to compress it or our file does not have any virus we compress it.

Firstly to compress a file , we need to open browser and then download WinRAR software. Then open this website www.anilcomputersudaipur.com (freebies) then download WinRAR. After its setup is downloaded, we will install it now we can compress any file/folder.

Check the size of the file.

Select your file>Right click > Click Properties > Size 12.6 KB

This is file size before we compress.

To compress the file

Select file/folder > Right Click > Send to > Compress (zipped) folder > Compress File is created

Now check its size.

Right click > check Properties 10.1 KB

In this way, using compress we can decrease the size of our file/folder.
